In this work, the coefficient of fluid-wall mass transfer in an inverse fluidized bed was determined using adsorption method. The experiments were carried out a column with diameter 45 mm spherical and non-spherical particles polypropylene polyethylene 3.3-4.9 density about 930 kg m-3. A diluted solution methylene blue used as fluidization medium, which adsorbed on part surface silica gel. obtained results showed that presence during does not contribute significantly to compared influence conventional beds.
